William Morgan

William is an award winning Actor, Director and Producer. He spent many years on stage, directing and producing in independent theatre. He has played leading roles, both comic and dramatic, in TV and Film. He has created many comic characters for radio and was a Grand Finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards and Channel 4's “So You Think You’re Funny!?” He has hosted countless corporate events for major multi-nationals, holds a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and also works as a Children’s Storyteller, visiting schools, bookshops and libraries as Mr. Read.
Recent work includes: ‘Sonny, Mammy and Patch the Dog’ for which he won 3 Best Actor Awards, SKINS, winner of the Nika McGuigan FNI Fast Fest Award, plus several independent Irish feature films: Dublin Crust for which he won Best Supporting Actor at the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival, Suit Hung. Tied Tongue, Reputation and Swing Bout.
A regular performer with Newscheck Comedy. One of his sketches was the most watched and shared comedy reel on Joe.ie. with 2M+ views. In the Summer of 2024, William will play the lead role in Baz’s feature Against the Odds. A recipient of the Screen Ireland Actor as Creator initiative, he will also produce an adaptation of his award winning short film Abducted? in 2024.
